Continuing Education

MIAA is the only school to offer 75-hrs of continuing education in Marma Therapy!

The 45-hr online Marma Energy Points of Ayurveda course and the 4-day in-person practicum are both eligible to receive CE credits with:

  • National Ayurveda Medical Association- NAMA
  • National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork- NCBTMB
  • National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine-  NCCAOM
  • Yoga Alliance- YA

For Ayurvedic Practitioners
  • The 45-hr online Marma Energy Points of Ayurveda course is approved by NAMA for 45 hours for ayurvedic practitioners. NAMA only requires 30 hours per PACE cycle and 2 hours must be in ethics so 28 hours will be granted for this course.
  • 4-day Practicum is approved for 30 hrs.
For Massage Therapists & Bodyworkers
  • The 45-hr online Marma Energy Points of Ayurveda course is approved for 30 hours CE credit for Modules 2-5 with NCBTMB. 
  • A separate certificate of 9 hours will be given for Module 1 on Ayurveda wellness.
  • This course contains some content that NCBTMB will not accept for continuing education such as nasya, tai chi, basti/enema, vaman, virchen and karna poorana. Unapproved content also includes mentions moxibustion, acupuncture, pranic healing, sound healing, yoga, and meditation. Only accepted content will be applied towards CE hours. 
For Acupuncturists
The 45-hr online Marma Energy Points of Ayurveda course is approved by NCCAOM for 45 hours and the 4-day Practicum is approved for 30 hrs.

For Yoga Teachers
